Army chief: situation of j&k is under control

 The chief of army staff general Manoj Pandey said on his j&k visit that the situation of border in Jammu and kasmir is under control  but increased in terrorist activities has been witness in southern region of pir pankal and Rajouri and punch in last few month.

He however ,asserted that due to effort of the security personnel .There has been  a significant drop in violence in the interior areas of Jammu and kashmir .In his address at 76th Army Day parade at thakur seodutt singh ground in Lucknow .He said that Army soldiers have discharged their responsibilities in every sphere ,it protecting our border counter terrorism operation of humanitarian disaster relief operation .

Through emergency procurement provision the Army of late has received several equipment with focus on development and strength of critical infrastructure including concerning the border .General Pande said the assured that army is well trained and battle hardened and is playing crucial role in establishing stable and secure environment which is essential for a nation development
