Election commission of india

 The election commission is independent and permanent  department ,its mention  in Article 324 of constitution of india .The  election commission is able to do  election of president , deputy president ,parliament ,state legislative assembly. 

It must noted that election commission does not conduct election of panchayat and municipalities of state.

The structure of election commission

 Article 324 of the Constitution has made the following provisions

with regard to the composition of election commission:

1. The Election Commission shall consist of the chief election

commissioner and such number of other election

commissioners, if any, as the president may from time to

time fix.

2. The appointment of the chief election commissioner and

other election commissioners shall be made by the

president.

3. When any other election commissioner is so appointed, the

chief election commissioner shall act as the chairman of the

election commission.

4. The president may also appoint after consultation with the

election commission such regional commissioners as he

may consider necessary to assist the election commission.

5. The conditions of service and tenure of office of the election

commissioners and the regional commissioners shall be

determined by the president 

Power and function of election commissioner

Following is many function and power .i mention under 

1 to have election and sure date of election .

2. To maintain administrative 

3. Advisory 

4.to register who have be eligible for voting 

5.to provide voter I'd card 

6.To act as a court for settling disputes related to granting of

 7 .recognition to political parties and allotment of election

symbols to them.

8. To appoint officers for inquiring into disputes relating to

Eligibility for election commissioner

 1.Should be citizen of india 

2. No more than age 65years or 06years of appointment whatever was done early .

3. President of india appoint on saying prime minister's advice 

4.  He may be retired justice of supreme court and retired IAS officer.

5. No any criminal  case should not noted against him .

Difference between fundamental rights and directive principles

Before starting the difference between fundamental and DPSP (Directives Principles and state Policy  Fundamental rights  claim on court it constitution this right is strictly follow and accept to government but DPSP is not constitutional matter you can not go to court for knocking door because it's only mercy matter of states.
